Your Sin
- Identify the Sin

Talk to God about it and confess each sin to Him by name, admitting you are wrong and asking for forgiveness.
- Confess to Man
Talk to those who need to know about the sins that God is dealing with you about. Be specific.
- Forsake the Sin
Don't just talk about it; make the changes needed so that this matter doesn't happen again.
Absorb
God's Word
The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.... Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down.

- Think about the Verses
Don't just read the verses; spend time thinking about what the words and phrases actually mean.
- Personalize the Verses
Write down the verses in your own words. Try to make them as personal to your situation as possible.
- Memorize the Verses
Don't just read and think about the verses; learn the verses so you can say them by heart.
Depend
on Jesus
- Admit Your Weakness
Be honest about your weakness. Tell God that you can't obey without His strength to help you.
- Recognize God's Strength
Read about God's ability to do the impossible through you. Your weakness is only half of the story.
- Declare Your Dependence
Tell God that you will no longer rely upon your own strength to obey, but on His. Be specific.
- Step Out and Obey
Don't just say it; step out of the boat and do what God has told you to do, relying on His strength!
